RainMow! is a sidewalk chalk spray painting machine. It was realized as a collaboration between myself and my daughter. It's base is a converted reel mower with the blades removed and a platform added to hold the paint cans. All cans are activated at once with the pull of a single handle.
As of 2018 it paints 6-color rainbows. Much the like the real things, these rainbows are ephemeral (lasting a day or two) — depending on the weather. We have presented RainMow! at two Pride Festivals and one anti-racism sidewalk chalk party.
